A California developer Blue Mountain Homes LLC purchased about two acres in Kalihi and planned a new project called Kauhale Gardens and broke the ground recently. The project follows the plan by a Honolulu boutique firm, Centre City LLC which also planned $6.5 million, nine-unit Hauoli Lofts project at 917 Hauoli Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. They are freshening up McCully and Moiliili area near the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
The project in total size occupies 2.15 acres and is located at the base of LikeLike Hwy 63 at 2236 Hiu St. Honolulu, HI 96819. The average home built within this project will be 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and have 2 parking spaces. Unlike other affordable homes in Honolulu, there are no income restrictions required.
