Maui’s residential real estate market saw median price gains of 25 percent in December, while sales increased for both single-family homes and condominiums, according to statistics from the Realtors Association of Maui.
Condo sales shot up 55 percent in December to 138 units sold, including 12 on Lanai, compared to 89 units sold in December 2011. The median condo price jumped 26 percent to $382,450 in December, up from $310,000 during the same month last year.
