Hawaiian Americana Realty, Inc. Announces Buyer Rebate Program
Buyer Commission Rebate Program to give 30% of buyer’s broker commission back to clients.
Maui, November 10, 2011 Hawaiian Americana Realty, Inc., announced today that it has launched a new Buyer Commission Rebate program. Buyers who purchase through the company will be rebated a full 30% of the companies’ buyer commission. This 30% rebate may be used to help pay closing costs, be used towards repairs to the home, or buyers may even take the rebate as cash to upgrade the property. In some instances Buyers lender approval may be required.
Mark Howard, the owner, broker and founder of Hawaiian Americana Realty, instituted this new program to help buyers more easily enter the market. Mark Howard stated that, “Our new Buyer Commission Rebate program is meant to help buyers get into the home of their dreams. Buyers may do whatever they like with the rebate money. While most buyers use the rebate towards their closing costs, some buyers have purchased new furniture, while others have prepaid maintenance fees… the skies the limit.”
The 30% rebate is only being offered through Hawaiian Americana Realty. The Buyer Commission Rebate program is a relatively new, but simple concept. The buyer’s broker typically collects a 3% commission from the Seller. With the Hawaiian Americana Realty rebate program, the Buyer keeps 30% of that commission. On a $450,000 home in Honolulu, that is over $4,000 that goes straight back to the Buyer.

Mark Howard was awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, Inc. of the National Association of Realtors. Buyer’s utilizing the buyer commission rebate program are entitled to full, traditional real estate brokerage services. This is not a discount brokerage service.
Mark Howard also stated that, “We are instituting this program because Hawaiian Americana Realty believes in fair pricing, commissions, and passing the cost savings from our highly efficient brokerage back to the customer.” The program works in conjunction with both the VA and FHA loan programs.
